History & Nostalgia The Bar has recently been refurbished, in doing this we have tried to include as much memorabilia from aviation past and present, in particular Caledonian Airways. We will shortly have some photographs here of some of the things in the bar. These include many aircraft pictures and photographs, Boeing 747, 757, Lockheed L1011 Tristar and the MD DC10 amongst others. Come and inspect the flying log book of Tristar G-BBAI including the entry for its last ever commercial flight. We have also kindly been donated both a Captain's and cabin crew original uniform, and these are on display in new show cases in the bar. Cissbury Ring On the hilltop to the east of The Caledonian Bar, is The Cissbury Ring, a very important area of local interest and history and one of the greatest of Britain's prehistoric hillforts. For more information visit the Findon website. Worthing Seafront The seafront is very popular, particularly in the summer. Whether you want to wine and dine, relax on the pebble beach, stroll on the promenade, or walk down the pier eating ice cream - it's the place to be!
